UPS Red Crescent team in association with Red Crescent in Al Ain organized a cultural lecture on the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may God have mercy upon him), the founding father of the United Arab Emirates . Apart from his great developmental vision as a leader, Sheikh Zayed was truly recognized for his wisdom, ethics and humanity.
Sheikh Zayed aimed to strengthen the ties between the UAE and Arab, Islamic and other countries which made him extremely popular globally. His generosity and charitable work not only positively impacted the lives of his people but of people across the globe. He keenly supported international and Islamic organizations. Charity projects were not limited to Arab and Islamic countries, but they also covered the developed world. History will tell next generations about Sheikh Zayed , who was a “Humanitarian school” ,a man of goodness, ethics ,charity and a civilization builder. The lecture was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Sameh, the school social worker.
