Connecting Math to the Real World

Math department organized a lesson by Ms. Shrouq Sami at the playground on Thursday February 6, 2020. Students enjoyed learning math concepts in the open air while connecting the lesson to the real world. The objectives of the lesson were to compare fractions using pizza, and to explain that a fraction is part of a whole. The teacher created an interesting learning atmosphere where students played and used snakes and ladders games, donuts, cards and flowers to apply the concepts that they were learning.

كانت أهداف الدرس متمثلة في مقارنة الكسور باستخدام أقراص البيتزا ، وتم توصيل فكرة الدرس الرئيسة أن الكسر جزء من الكل
ابتكرت المعلمة جوًا تعليميًا مثيرًا للاهتمام حيث لعب الطلاب واستخدموا ألعاب الثعابين والسلالم والكعك والبطاقات والزهور لتطبيق المفاهيم الجديدة
