Raising Awareness of First Aid

As an essential part of school safety plan, Abu Dhabi Police organized a lecture to grade eight and nine on January 14, 2020 to raise middle school students’ awareness of First Aid. First aid is the initial assistance provided to an individual while waiting for the medical professionals to arrive. The lecture provided students with first aid training that can help to reduce risk and empower them with the ability to assess and manage the situation in the event of a medical emergency. Initial medical response training empowers students with the tools and information they need to offer help for others in emergency cases.
