PS Celebrates Zayed’s 100th Birth Anniversary

The year 2018 was declared the Year of Zayed to mark 100 years since the birth of the founding father Shaikh Zayed. On May 6th 2018 UPS organized a number of special activities that included his biography as the Ruler of Abu Dhabi from 1966, and UAE President from the formation of the federation on December 2, 1971, till his death in 2004. He believed in unity and compassion and determined that humanitarian assistance should be extended to people around the globe. This week marks the Centennial of the birth of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was born on 6 May 1918.
